1. Quick start
Finish the introduction, unlock with Face ID or your device passcode, then use the account grid below the selected-code card. Tap ≡ for settings, import, export, and sync; tap + to add an account.

2. View and copy codes
Tap any circular service icon to show that account in the top card. Tap the white card to copy. The outer ring shows time remaining and becomes warmer as refresh approaches.
3. Add an account
Tap +, then scan a service QR code, enter the details manually, or paste an otpauth:// link. Google Authenticator migration QR codes are supported.
4. Edit, reorder, or delete
Long-press a service icon to edit, export, or delete it. Drag icons to reorder. Deleted items remain recoverable for seven days in Settings › Security › Recently Deleted.
5. Import and export
Import encrypted Spot Auth backups, migration QR codes, otpauth links, and supported exports from other authenticators. Export an encrypted backup before changing phones.
6. Cloud sync
Pro users can set a backup password, then connect iCloud Drive or WebDAV from Menu › Cloud Sync. Offline mode automatically disables sync.
7. Security settings
Choose the interface language and grid density, lock again after backgrounding, disable all network features with Offline Mode, or turn optional service-logo fetching off separately.
8. Troubleshooting
If codes differ from another authenticator, check the secret and enable automatic system time. Secrets cannot be edited after import; delete and add the account again if needed.
Try scanning safely
Open the test page on a computer, generate a temporary QR code, then scan it with Spot Auth and compare the two codes.
